Nicole received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2006. Her love of anatomy and physiology inspired her to continue her education at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy to pursue a drug-free approach to health and wellness. Nicole completed the 2200-hour program in 2012 at the top of her class and remains an active member of the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).
As an advocate for preventative medicine, Nicole empowers her patients with education and encourages a proactive lifestyle. Through individualized treatment plans, Nicole strives to care for each patient with compassion and support to ensure proper muscle balance and body awareness.
Nicole believes that regular massage is essential for one’s well-being and enjoys treating orthopedic and systemic conditions. Her treatments incorporate a variety of techniques to achieve the best possible result, including Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Central and Peripheral Joint Mobilizations, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hydrotherapy, Aromatherapy, and Remedial Exercise.
Nicole is continuously seeking exciting and challenging courses and learning opportunities and holds certification in Cupping Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Reiki (Level I & II).
