Rebecca is a recent graduate from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bedford, Nova Scotia. She is a member in good standing with the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (ATCMANS) and is trained in First Aid and CPR.
Rebecca graduates with recognition on the Dean’s List for scholastic and clinical excellence. Her strengths include her skill of diagnostic analysis and ability to make patients feel at ease with her calm approach.
In 2019, Rebecca travelled to Xiamen, China to participate in a Foundations Training Camp at Xiamen University. During this time, she was able to strengthen her diagnostic skills and observe the integration of Acupuncture with Western Medicine in hospitals and clinics.
Rebecca has always had a strong passion for health and wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition, having graduated with First Class Honours. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from StFX University.
Rebecca believes in a holistic healing approach and treating the root cause of disease for lasting results. She has worked with a variety of health conditions and recognizes the importance in taking the time to understand a patient’s individual needs to facilitate the development of an optimal treatment plan.
Rebecca was born and raised in New Glasgow. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and family. Having just moved to the Truro area, she is excited to start her career at Core Kneads and help her clients with their health goals.
